That sounds like a potential bug. I would report it to Ford and walk them through the steps, OS version, etc.
I also am not getting the location button or public charging button to work most times I try it. Anyone figure this out?

Anybody notice the charge history has the wrong kWh on recent days? It almost seems they got the decimal place wrong. Says it charged 223kwh for 17% !!! My ChargePoint history helped me confirm the obvious, that this is in fact NOT true. ChargePoint on same day confirms 19 kWh (same plugged in time so I know it’s the same session) which is much more appropriate .

In order to get my SOC% back I had to

  1. Unplug the charger from the MME
  2. Tap the Lock Door Button on the FP App

This Lock attempt failed but it refreshed the main page and now shows my correct SOC% and Range.

So apparently when the FP App connects to the vehicle to try and execute whatever you wanted such as Climate, Lock, or Unlock it must refresh the data back to the app.

I'd expect this from a Beta but dang they released it final to everyone like this after having had this out for what a year in Beta?

I like it so far. The only thing I see missing that I would like back is the running odometer reading on the vehicle screen.

I can't find trip planner? How am I supposed to plan my trips? I loved being able to plan it on the phone and send to the car.

Tried to use the slider to charge to 100%. Woke up to it stopping at 90%. Hoping the slider would enable it to charge to 100%, during scheduled hours, for longer trip days.

Missing odometer reading in app.

There appears to be a time related issue. My car has been set to charge at 12am every night for the past year and has done so without issue. Last night the car did not charge. Looking at the app this morning it says waiting to charge at 5pm instead of 12am. I verified in the car directly that my home is still set up correctly for charging locations and starting at 12am. Yesterday when trying out the new app I started charging and then stopped and it appears the schedule did not correctly resume. With the old app if I stopped charging manually my schedule would resume for the next charging window. I will see what happens tonight without using the start feature in the app.

When I started charging in the app this morning since it didn't charge last night, it says charging from 67% to 100% will finish at 3:46am when it started at 8:30am.. the app must be set to a different time zone than I am actually in.

Maybe I am misunderstanding how the slider bar is supposed to work, but it also seems to not work properly. When I manually started charging the car set the charge target to 100%. Whenever I adjust the slider to where I want it to be (80%) it just defaults back to 100%.

The old version of the app would have this bug for me also. It just assumes some rate of charge and the number keeps ticking up until you unplug. (Even if your charger says it isn’t charging)

Though if you have a 23 MME you should double check that your blue charge light is actually turning off. Because you may have a bug where it is never actually disengaging the charger.

Will check when i next charge - however, if thats the case, how is the bug addressed? Whats odd though is that the car remains plugged in with an 80% limit and it does stop there .. so assume it is disengaging?

The Control button showing is for offline capabilities tied to BLE + Paak.

As for the skeleton/placeholder states, this is all connectivity driven. If this doesn't load, there's likely some sort of communications issue happening with your vehicle. This could be wifi, cell, vehicle wifi/cell, vehicle permissions, or anything in between.

This looks like the Android app -- so not my cup off tea on all the issues that could happen locally ?
There seems to be many issues with Android and it looks like your partial to iOS. It looks like there was little testing on Android especially the maps.

If your blue light is staying on after charge is finished you’ll have to take it to the dealer and they update some modules. Just point them at: https://www.macheforum.com/site/attachments/tsb-24-2094-pdf.120061/

If your charging light is going out, it’s probably just a bug in FordPass. Mine is currently doing the same thing, while I can login to my charger and clearly see power isn’t being drawn.
