Fordpass Climate Control

I have a 21 job 1 with the latest Fordpass on an iphone. Several folks have noted that they now can control a temperature through the app. I have not seen this on mine. Does anyone know why? Is it a setting? A function of the 21 job year? Thanks

It is a server-side feature, i.e. when you have the latest FORDPASS app and the right vehicle OTA updates, it will magically appear AFTER you have used the climate button.

do we know what the OTA is that enables it? I am one of the 21 job 1 cars that had no updates for a year then have had 3 or so in the past month. but none seem to have been the lucky one.

literally as i posted this i was notified that I received 10.1.1 - and now i have climate settings.

The required software has been around a while. Ford hasn't set up the server-side changes for a lot of VINs yet. It looks like Ford's batched another set of VINs for this. My 2024 is fully updated via FDRS and my VIN's FordPass app doesn't have the climate controls yet. Soon™ is when I expect the change. ??

I have a '21 Job 1, I just got updated to 10.1.1 a couple days ago. I confirmed this morning I have the climate setting available in Fordpass (v5.16.0) on Android.

I just received the update and the temperature slide is available. However in Erasers picture it shows the windshield, steering wheel and seats as separate icons below the temperature setting, mine does not show them... Not that I'm worried but

Since I haven't seen the controls first-hand I am not positive on this, but it might be a difference between Android and iOS platforms. It could also be a difference in FordPass app versioning or any number of in-vehicle software levels. ??
