No issues here with iOS 18.7.1 and FordPass 5.28.0.

1% usage or less, even over 10 days 🤷🏻‍♂️

I posted the same thing yesterday. I don't understand how/why some have this issue and others don't with the same software versions. It is like PAAK where some say it has worked flawlessly for years and for others it is so erratic, they can't use it.

Software just being software I guess.

To those having issues, have you already tried the usual troubleshooting steps?

1) Force close the app and reboot the phone.

2) Offload the app and reinstall it.

3) Completely uninstall the app and reinstall it.

The FP app isn’t even on my top 10 radar for power usage for any day in the last week. 🤷‍♂️🐩

@E90alex, that's a good list of things to try. It isn't actually creating any issues for me, so I'll probably just ignore it for now, but it is odd...

WOW! I'm on IOS 18.7.1 and just looked at my usage. I am in the process of upgrading to IOS 26, and I will see what happens.

I checked and over the last week the app took about 10% of my battery on average. Not horrible but not great for just one app — especially since PAAK is flakey. Some days more some less. I’m not sure why. I do frequently walk near my car while in my house. Maybe there is some event or usage which causes the app to use more energy.

I also have the Apple Watch app installed with it on my watch face but I don’t think it does anything in the background since when the app is opened it takes a while for it to refresh.

You realize that’s percent of what’s used, not percent of your battery. If you kill all your other apps and use only FP, it will eventually show 80%, but it’s not using more battery.

I realize that, but I use many other apps a lot throughout the day, and the Ford app in proportion is using a significant amount. Even with my upgrade to IOS 26, Ford still ranks #1 in usage.

23% used. I updated to 26.2.1 earlier today. I didn’t even use my mache today.
