FP 5.0.1 missing start button

The start button is for charging, and the fan button is for starting? What is for remote starting?

There really is no remote start for an EV. You just turn on climate system to warm or cool your car before you enter. If you had a Ford ICE rig like I do and you switch vehicles in FO then the fan turns into a slider bar and I can remote start my Expedition.

No it allows you to immediately start charging. The name is unfortunate.

NOT start charging. START CHARGING TO 100%. You didn't see start button and immediately think that must mean "start charging to 100%"? Very intuitive?!? Lol

They will probably re-label the buttons eventually. It is probably an issue with the space available to add text to the buttons and they chose poorly. Why would anyone expect a "Start" button to "start" the car? /s

My question is does the fan button start the car and charge the 12v ?

I don’t drive much so I like to start/run the MME in my garage so the 12v charges up a bit.

Do I need to get in and hit the start button now?

It only runs for 15 minutes which isn't enough time to charge the 12V battery. That's hasn't changed at all with the update.
