free Bluecruise

my mechanic says BlueCruise on the 2021 Mach e is free for the life of the car since it was introduced in 21. Anyone else with a 2021 model hear this ?

Your mechanic is absolutely wrong. The early 21's ended up with about 20 months of free blue cruise (roughly April 2022 to December 2023) that expired January 1 2024 and can be renewed once at the price of $600 for 3 years. After that (and for everyone else) it's $800/year until the renewal rate drops to near zero and Farley cuts the price.

No. It was not in the price of the car. Was not an added option on the window sticker and was not an add on cost at purchase. I went back and checked everything after I noticed that my trial indicated 3 years.

They may not list the BC 3 year service in the sticker, but you paid for it in the price of the car. From the Job 2 2021's through some point in 2023 BC was a standard feature. I forget exactly when they did it, but in 2023 they cut the base price of the car and started charging extra for the 3 yr BC as an option. The '23 you got was likely from before that pricing change.

Perhaps, but the price was reduced on the car by $4000 so it doesn’t seem like I paid for it since any form.
