From KC to Chicago

My status is:

Dispatched on Feb 22 2021

Just curious if I should expect the car this week (KC is only an 8 hour drive from Chicago) or just still wait until my expected date (March 11th). Was hoping to see if anyone here had a timeline of palsapp to Chicago but I don't think i've seen many Illinois members

I live in the Chicago suburbs so I’m interested in learning from your tracking activity. I won’t have t worry about mine for a couple more months but I always plan ahead.

I have the same expected date as well and no tracking info in Pals. Will post when I learn new info in the coming days.

Dispatched means the truck has departed (in your case, to the Voltz ramp). If Palsapp gets updated properly, you should get a "delivered" status. That just means delivered to Voltz where it has to board another train.

At least you're seeing some activity. Mine arrived KC on Jan 25 and it still shows "pending" with the destination of my dealer. Mine will get trucked from KC - no more train rides. But it's testing my patience sitting in KC for a month! My ETA is supposed to be 2/25, so it needs to leave KC in the next day or so to meet that.

Yeah - you're probably done with Palsapp updates. About all you can do now is wait or call your dealer and see if they can track in their VV system.

And as a side note - my status just updated to "Dispatched"! It should arrive at my dealer tomorrow. I may just break out the good scotch tonight. ?

Can only the dealer use Vehicle Visibility?

Pretty much. There may be Ford employees with access too but your dealer would be your best bet.

I’ve been stalking my dealers demo car as it was running about a week ahead of mine. Took two days after dispatch from KC to arrive in Jackson Michigan.

My vehicle left Mexico about 2 weeks ago and still pending in palsapp. Delivery estimate 3/1-3/7.

My vehicle shipped out 2/2 so it took 20 days to show up in palsapp and another day after that for it to dispatch

As an update, still no arrival. Very confused how it arrives in KC and takes more than 3 days to get to Chicago. Extremely frustrating especially cause there is no way to track it at all

Mine sat in KC almost 4 weeks and I'm closer to KC than Chicago!

My Mach-E FE shipped on January 22nd and was given an expected arrival of between 2/20 - 2/26 headed to a dealer just a bit north of Chicago, but here we are on 3/3 and I still have no car. I checked with the dealer last week and was told that they were expecting the car to be delivered by 2/26, but sometimes there are slight delays. Once they received it, they would perform some checks of the vehicle and then let me know it is ready for purchase. Palsapp shows the below. Does this mean that my car is still just sitting in KC?

Yeah, guessing it is either a bug or stuck sitting there for some reason (I had the delivery receipt show up the day after it was delivered). Could be related to the current issues.

Build Date: 2021-01-22
Ship Date: 2021-02-02
KC Date: 2021-02-23
Delivered Date: 2021-03-09

Just had Status change today to Dispatched. Original arrival date was supposed to be Thusday 3/11. Based on previous posters in this thread, maybe it will show up here by the weekend. Having 50A service installed this weekend so we'll be ready for home charging, and new EA site is only 5 miles away if needed.

So as my final update, purchased on Saturday from Fox Ford and very happy with my car and color choice. Dealership was great to work with and closing took about an hour or so with a 36 month options plan
