Front Camera Fault again after replacement

My MME select is throwing the front camera fault warning again after it was already replaced. Took local dealer a full month to resolve the first instance. I’ve been very patient with this car because I love driving it but the recalls and repairs and concerns are starting to get to me.

That fault was most likely caused by faulty software. How long has it been since you had it replaced? If it was more than a 6 weeks ago then you should ask your dealer to install the new software. There is an SSM out there for this very issue.

I had it applied last Monday and have yet to see the error message re-appear.

I doubt it will occur via OTA since it is a service message for the dealers. It tells them to install some software if customers have a certain list of complaints and symptoms. Your symptom is on that list.
