I have a 21 mach e with 13,000 miles. It's been in for service 5 times for the front camera fault pre collision not available. The software updates are not helping. I called Ford but their technicians referred me to ford pass. Still no help. I'm ready to trade it in.
Hey there! Please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, and I can look into your concerns on my end.

Mine just started doing this also, again. I straightened the cable like in the first post and that seemed to do the trick for about a year. About a couple weeks ago I got the camera fault warnings and now get nothing, but no Blue Cruise either. Getting pretty sick of this shit! I just got the car back from the second HVBJB replacement!!! This is ridiculous!!!?

Ford has a problem that they don't want to own up to

Do you know what diagnostic codes appeared? My Job 1 is in service for the fifth time for this and I noticed something. The first three visits Ford didn't have a fix yet or the dealer diagnosed and ordered parts. The first error code was U3000:49, which according to the TSB, indicated that the IPMA needed to be replaced, but didn't suggest the cable was bad. On fourth visit, IPMA was changed out. Five days later, I got the error message again and another scan showed U3000:89 this time, indicating the cable WAS bad, so they changed that this time (can't attest if 100% fixed, dealer is delivering car to me now). Could the camera faults be multifaceted and "hide" each other/need to be take care of consecutively?
I don't know how Ford trains their techs, but imo they seem to diagnose it like a car instead of a rolling IT department. You know what rule #1 is in IT field service for an intermittent desktop input issue?? CHECK AND REPLACE THE CABLE FIRST.

*edit: After having this issue on my '21 MME Select and seeing the image of the correct cable routing after a windshield recall, I brought it to service and explained how troubleshooting worked with technology. Problem hasn't returned after 10k miles (field work racks up a lot of miles). This saved me a TON of time going back and forth with the dealer. Thanks!!*

My 2021 MME is currently at the shop for this fault. They are replacing the cable. What has surprised me is how long it will take to carry out the repair. It will have been there for at least a week and a half based on current estimates. The dealer previously went through and updated various components before they indicated it needed a new cable which took 6 months to arrive. I know now why they want to try everything short of replacing the cable. I'll let you know whether the new cable fixes the problem once I get the car back. They did ask if I needed a loaner when they told me Friday that it would be another week.

Ford Mustang Mach-e Extended 2021
Hello everybody.
I'm writing from Italy.
My 2021 Mustang Mach-e Extended showed every single defect you mentioned few months after warranty expiration.
Front camera fault, anticollision assist fault, line assist fault, cruise control fault...
The car has been recovered in three different official Ford dealer (Siena, Grosseto, Rome) and none of them have a clear idea on what to do and in Rome they said that a complete rewiring of the car is needed.
The estimate cost is around 6000$ and they are not sure to solve the problem anyway.
Every safety feature of this car is not working and the car is just brake and accelerator like a car of early '80s.
There is no doubt that this is a well known defect of this model, not related to accident nor to bad use, but Ford is abandoning us.

Mine shows a camera/anti-collision fault at least once a day. My record is seven times in a day. In a quote from "Die Hard", "Welcome to the party, pal."
