Hi,
Apologies if this is already answered, but I could not find any concrete information regarding this issue. Only some whispers about a loose camera harness or software update issue.
Anyway, I keep getting Front Camera Fault / Pre-collision Assist disabled messages appearing on my cluster. BlueCruise also becomes disabled once this error occurs. The issue appears intermittent, and often goes away on its own after a few minutes. This leads me to believe its not a physical obstruction, but rather a loose connection.
Is this is known issue or recall? If so, can anyone link me to the documentation regarding the issue. I took my vehicle in to the dealer last week and the service tech cleared the fault codes and states that no issues were found and it was a result of a dirty camera, which in my opinion was BS, since I already cleaned my front cameras beforehand, and also wouldn't explain the intermittent faults.
