I might've found the problem. The vehicle had the windshield replaced under another recall 21C22 back in February so I decided to remove the rain sensor cover above the rear view mirror, disconnect, remove And clean the rain sensor and IPMA camera very carefully, clean that small area of glass with a q-tip and a little air reinstall and reconnect the sensors very carefully. I cleared the codes then took it on a few road tests in the morning and the afternoon for a few days. Everything functioned correctly and no more messages came up on the IPC. I have been monitoring the status for a week now and everything is still good to go. I will be continuing to monitor for a month until I'm satisfied this was the issue and it has been resolved. I sent this information to Ford as well and hope this will fix most of these vehicles that are having the same problem.
That would seem to suggest that the problem was caused by a dirty windshield. Periodic removal of the camera and cleaning of the inside of the windshield with a jumbo Q-tip may be required? Realignment afterwards may be required as well.

I'm leaning towards that small area of the windshield on the inside of the vehicle having something in the line of sight of the camera. I used a small q-tip but that's all I had and a Spritz of shop air to blow the fuzzies out if there were any. Making sure that the IPMA camera seats correctly into place is crucial as well and it's always good to do the alignment whether it needs it or not.
On another note we should always connect a battery charger when updating/reprogramming modules because some modules take hours to update which can turn into days when your updating several modules. There is also a service procedure to correct the auxiliary battery from draining while the high voltage battery charges which involves several modules to be updated if your having this issue.

Ford replaced the module again today and tried the software update and the file is still missing.

ford engineers said this morning they have “figured out” the problem and should have updated software to push thru in a few days .

we will see

Add me to the naughty list ... :(

Pretty much exact same symptoms as being described. Initially we randomly go the error but it quickly went away for maybe days. Then, over time, we get the message more and more. I just dropped of the car at the dealer to diagnose, and on the way during the 15 minutes it came on 5 times. Seems like the common symptom is it just keeps getting worse until is stops completely.

Apparently.

No OTA though. You will have to apply this update via cable. (Dealer or DYI...)

My car is actually at the dealership for this very issue. I have tried to live with it but unfortunately this fault occurs on a regular basis so I've just grown tired of dealing with it. I don't think it is dangerous in any way.....it is just annoying when ACC stops working and I have to then resume or control speed myself. I always have my hands on the wheel anyway so resuming steering control is easy enough.

When I dropped it off, I handed them the key fob and a token of good luck. Let's hope today is a lucky day for the car. ?

at this time the latest update is that this is software related, however that is after having replaced the module.

we will see. I hope it fixes the issue

today is the 25th consecutive day it has been at the dealership for the issue

Picked up car from dealer. Will drive it for a few days and see if the fault returns. If not, then the software fixed the issue.

Good luck. Hope it goes well for you too.

Another day and the errors still haven't returned so that is a good sign.

Day 31 here.

no progress. I now have met all benchmarks in the state of Florida required to file a lemon law notice.

This was happening to mine intermittently and now has failed permanently. I scheduled an appointment to fix. With the camera out, I can not use Regular Cruise control either. I still love the car.
Yes dealer applied TBS 22-2295 and it resolved the issue for me. No hardware needed. Only software and they had to drive it to retrain and verify after the update.

Made it one whole week.
The errors are now back. Both error messages appeared last night on the way home and this morning during my commute.

Could be hardware. Could be software. Not sure. Either way, my warranty has long expired so I'll just have to live with it I guess. :(
