After looking at about 75 videos one showed the front camera being washed by the washer to the right of the camera. Another person just mentioned it. I believe I've looked at all the setting in my attempt to locate, no luck. If your knowledgeable to make this happen let us all know. Thanks!

I believe, if you have the camera on, and then use the windshield washer option, then it will also run the camera washer. Thats how its worked in previous vehicles anyway.

I believe it is automatic when you wash your windshield

Just confirmed. When you wash the front windshield, the front camera also gets washed.

Does the camera have to be engaged for it to do it, or does it happen every time you use the windshield washer?

Every time. But now I want to try it with the camera on while watching the camera.

Ugh. That's annoying. My edge only ran the camera washer if you had the camera active at the time of using the washer. And I hated using it. Sure it cleaned the camera, but then dirt would stick to the now wet area on the front or back of the car and looked horrible. I just got to where I'd wipe it off every time I got gas.

And if you watch the front camera while you wash the windshield, you can watch the front camera get it’s dousing.

I dunno, that seems like you should at least offer the camera a towel in that case or something.

Only if it tips well. Otherwise it can drip dry like the rest of the heathens at the fair.

In my previous cars I always pulled the fuse for the headlight washers. Nothing worse than a nice clean, dry car that then gets soaked by an uneccesary spray.

I might be incorrect but I don't think the camera washer is activated on every use of the screen washers. Mine seems to be every so often. Perhaps every 3 to 5 screen sprays?

I have been working with the service department and they believe Ford may have not added the correct part, they check out several Mach-E on their lot and most do not have this part properly installed, the ones that do have three tubes, Camera, from windshield and rear windshield. They are fighting with Ford to get the resolution.

On my 2022 GTPE, the front camera washer extends and washes the camera but doesn't retract. (I can push it back in manually). From the video posted here earlier, it looks like it should retract on its own, correct?
