2023 Premium, ExR, RWD with <4000 miles.
Low-pitched humming noise from the front footwell area.
Not from mirrors or sunroof.
The service rep says it's from the front battery cooling louvers and/or electric motor (?)
Any thoughts?

Motors, wind, tires, could be lots of normal stuff at 70 mph.

Do you have propulsion sound turned on? Is this a new noise or has this always been there?

What’s it sound like to you?

Tires can get louder as they wear. Thats one possible explanation.

But honestly if you want us to give you a better idea of a sound, we gotta hear it.

Take a video and post here.

Try a different driving mode, I never take my Mach-e out of whisper mode, but I noticed the same sound from my lightning in sport mode at 70mph and it goes away if I switch to normal mode!

We always had propulsion sound off on both profiles. Then we heard a humming noise only when we were over 70 and when the go pedal a bit harder. I thought it was something out of balance on the drivetrain or motor. I checked propulsion sound and, for some reason, it was on for both profiles.

I think one of the updates switched it on because we didn't touch it for sure. I would double check just in case.

I kinda notice the same thing when I turn left. A very low hum but fades in and out. Doesn’t do it when I turn right. My tires have about 25k miles on them. The car is a 2021 Premium AWD with 50000 miles.

Maybe it's humming because it doesn't know the words to the Chief's fight song ?

Hi, I just noticed this post and was wondering if there was resolution? I have recently started getting a loud "hum" at 65MPH to 67MPH, quite before and after that speed.
