Also if you charge your Tesla with that setup, what is the exact voltage reading while charging? (Reading from the car, not the EVSE)

A quick search shows the Tesla wall charger operates at a minimum of 208v...

Thanks. Is your service 208V or 240V? If you are in a standard residence with 240V that is an excessive voltage drop. If you aren't sure, set your Tesla to the lowest possible amperage and read the voltage again.

OK, so you have 208V service. I was just seeing if you had an excessive voltage drop for some reason. Mach-E should charge just fine on 208V so I'm not sure what the issue is with it. Try this if you haven't yet: Try This First - Powertrain Malfunction / High-Voltage Battery Warning / Service Vehicle Soon While Charging

Other thing to try is charging your Tesla with the J1772 adapter to make sure J1772 is working correctly.

If that still doesn't work and you're sure the Tesla EVSE is updated, maybe you should send me your VIN?

Doing some more digging, it appears Tesla recently released new firmware that fixed a problem that caused the Mach-E to charge fault while using the Tesla Wall connector. Verify you are on the latest 23.24.4 firmware and have set type to J1772 compatibility mode. You could also try manual rollback to 23.8.2.

That's a good try! Tesla Universal Connector with the J1772 adapter then connector back to a J1772 to NACS adapter, then to Tesla, right?

Tried the method:
Tesla Universal Charger with the J1772 adapter then connect to the Tesla made J1772 to NACS adapter then plugs into the Tesla, it shows "Charging Error, No Power".

Also tested with the Ford Mobile Charger connected to the Tesla made J1772 to NACS adapter, plugs to the Tesla, no problem at all.

In conclusion, not sure if there is something wrong with the NACS to J1772 comes with the Universal Connector.

Is there any release note for that newest fw which fixed tge charging problem? Where can I find it? Also, how to roll back to 23.8.2 manually for trying?

https://wallmonitor.app/app/firmware/23.24.4

On second thought, I'm not sure if you can roll back to the other firmware because it might be older than the Magic Dock unit. I would try to do a factory reset on the unit and set it up again. If that doesn't work, then contact Tesla. You might have a defective unit, especially since it won't charge your Tesla with J1772 either.

Since the universal one is quite new and I think I just leave it with the firmware. Will follow up with Tesla first to see if it is a defective unit. Thx dude for your advise! Will update my findings later with Tesla. Merry Christmas!
