Fullscreen Android Auto is coming

Full screen is great, however, I am waiting for the new layout:

This is full screen? This is how Android Auto has looked since I got the car in January. What does your A Auto look like?

That big area of black between the map and the tiles is stupid and wasteful. Why not put more media info there? Oh and while they are at it, allow us to pin tiles, move that "Auto" button to the left, closer to the plus/minus temp adjustment and add a similar plus/minus for fan adjustment. Having to tap twice to toggle the fan speed is annoying (my No. 1 issue with the UI).

I don't know about everyone else, but I monkey with climate controls far more than mapping and media. I'd rather see those buttons on the steering wheel. I don't need volume controls on the wheel when Ford provides that big ass physical dial.

From what I understand this has been a limitation of Android Auto. Google announced adaptive sIzes at I/O this year read that the beta testers of AA have the additional screen sizes now but have not been able to confirm.
