I'll start my own rumor... I'd like to finally see some customizability and data options for the IPC. This should in no way be a shock to anyone here but the actual data display for this car is pathetic compared to so many other EVs and even some other older Ford vehicles.

Ford has a roadmap apparently already ready. Here are some of the updates they’ve talked about publicly:

1. Global charge level limiter accessible inside of the car

2. Battery preconditioning with android auto and apple CarPlay

3. Tesla supercharger locations in the cars navigation system



Here are some updates I hope to see:

1. More settings and customizability within FordPass for the car.

2. Stop being so conservative with the charging curve and allow faster charging in the car.

3. Revision for the speedometer just like they did for the main display.

4. Pet Mode, Enhancements to BlueCruise, etc.

It seems that an EV should show the charging rate/speed on a screen inside the car. Other cars have this feature. FP shows the charging rate. Is there some technical reason why Ford didn't or won't give us this charging information inside the car?

Given that the Lightning has had a one-time charge limit from day 1, I don't consider that an enhancement. Next they will say that adding walkaway lock to the Lightning is an enhancement...
