Get "Door Fault Service Notification" Error/Alert

2022 Ford MME GT owner here. Issue just popped up randomly. Last service was just done about 3 weeks back in Nov 2024. Pressing OK makes it go away but could use some help. Do I need to take it to the dealer, or can it be fixed with OTA update? Thanks.

Mine was caused by a loose ground wire - when I was getting that error. Passenger side doors were pretty much dead - no windows, power mirror fold didnt work, door presenters also did not work.

It’s a common problem. My 2021 had the same problem as you. I lived with it for 6 months before taking to a dealer and having it fixed. It was a faulty door latch / actuator. It never caused any problem with opening / closing or locking the doors but I finally got fed up of the warning message and alert sound at start up and having to press OK on the steering wheel to clear it.

Thanks. I dont have an issue with locking/unlocking opening or closing doors. It's just annoying and hopefully doesnt result in a major repair bill.

Thanks. I dont have an issue with locking/unlocking opening or closing doors. It's just annoying and hopefully doesnt result in a major repair bill.

It should be covered under warranty as it is a known fault. Mine was.

My mache just started showing the same fault along with a series of other issues today. Now none of the passenger doors will open. Neither will the trunk. And the worst part is the vehicle will not allow me to drive, thinking my doors are open, so I’m stuck. Super frustrating.
