Worth pointing out that the gifts related to the recall stem from @Ford Motor Company as they provided the following to the NHTSA late last year: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2023/RMISC-23V687-6899.pdf

Specifically the following was to be included:

I did get a loaner but none of the other perks when I got my recall work done last month.
I got a loaner as well. No wash, charge or gifts.

The loaner came to me at 30% charge and I gave it back at 80%. So I guess they got the gift?

Got mine scheduled for next Thursday. Ernhart is providing loaners but they pushed me out to next week so I could get one. Then I started rattling off the other 8 TSB's, SSM's, and alignment. Thankfully Gwen is more than understanding.
I didn't ask for a gift, I'd rather the car work be done, right, and timely. (I called as I noticed I was at 35950.4 miles lol. Better get this other stuff done as well. All 4 pillar pieces have cracked, she thinks I'll have a hard time getting those covered under the 8/100 ESP so it's on the ticket now under the 3/36)

Six pages of replies, but has anyone other than the 'thread starter' received the gift from Ford for completing the HVJB recall? I am beginning to think this was a perk exclusively from the dealer, not from Ford Inc.
One other person posted receiving the gift as of today that I see.

I had the service performed at Galpin Ford, the world's largest Ford dealer, a couple of weeks ago. I called my service advisor asking about the gifts and he said he hadn't heard about them and to call Ford Customer Service at 800-392-3673.

I called and after waiting on hold for a long time, the rep came back and said those gifts were for a different recall 23S33. I searched that on the forum and there are zero references to it. I googled it and found it's a recall for a Fusion Energi.

I told the rep that her info was wrong, that these gifts are for the Mach-E. She then changed her story and said that the cards were sent out randomly to Mach-E owners.

I find that baffling - what would the point be of randomly gifting owners for getting a required recall performed???

Finally got the call, appointment scheduled for Feb 26th. We'll see if I get a gift or not. (Not expecting one as I'm also in Canada)

They did say it was a 4 hour appt and made no mention of a loaner, etc. I don't need one but Ford should be ready to provide one.

Mine was not charged, the screen was not wiped, the card was not signed and it said 30,000 Ford pass reward points but I'm not complaining because I didn't expect anything. :)

Another example of Ford not coordinating with their dealers. The first thing I noticed in there was the part about ordering the parts ahead of time. How many times has that been fonged already? The gifts? Hmmm. Don’t think that outreach program got reached out.

It did, but you’re not expecting the dealers actually read their memos and bulletins right…
Based on my experiences so far, clearly there’s a file cabinet full of EV literature from Ford that sits unused in a corner of some management underling’s office.

In this day there really shouldn't be handouts for car details. EV's more so.
Attempting to kill any offset by printing 4million 100 page full color print outs of the foot wells, and cup holder pictures.

My tale. I called the dealership in early December. They stated the HVJB part would be ordered and I would be called when received. Fast forward two weeks later, I called to check and found no part was ordered. I was told to come in for an inspection so they could establish a repair ticket and order the part. Went to dealer Jan. 2 and the story changed to no inspection being needed and the the part was ordered (dealer admitted they were confused by Ford's frequent changing of requirements and apologized for the in-person inspection request).
I was informed the part came in on Jan 17 and scheduled a dealer pickup on Friday the 19th (I didn't request a loaner). The car was returned yesterday (Jan 23) with a new HVJB and all other customer satisfaction updates done. FordPass has cleared the CS updates but still shows my HVJB recall as not done. No free anything in my account and no wash/vacuuming, etc. My feeling is to keep expectations of anything (other than a competent repair) low and you won't be disappointed. Interestingly, I just got an invoice from my dealer thanking me for my recent payment of $0.00. I Guess their system has limited options!

Not only did I not get any gift or points or anything, the dealer didn't even bother to mark my jobs done at Ford, so they still shows incomplete. Sat a week at the dealer before they even started to job. (no loaner or rental or anything) Great service... :( I have no confidence in anything Ford does at this point. My lower trim on both sides of the rear doors was left sticking way out after they re-attached the batteries pack. I had to slam them back in place. The car is ok but the service just stinks. There has to be a better way.

Brought my ‘21 in for 24-month service plus a couple of other issues. They told me they’d also take care about the junction box recall but they’d have to order the parts. They told me it was labor intensive. That was yesterday. Today they called and said they wouldn’t have the parts until tomorrow and it would be another day beyond that. This is a good-sized dealer that’s sold many MMEs, so you’d thing they’d have these parts on hand. They’re very nice, and they know what they’re doing, but we’re talking 4 days… and isn’t this the same recall they did last year?

My car went in today for the recall. Advisor said that Ford issues the gifts not the Dealership. I should wait till the service is complete then contact Ford.

My car got bricked by the 6.8 update and had to get towed to the dealer. Ford gave me an ESP (Premium Care EV).

Mine's going through its surgery today.

I received the "gift" postcard but was told I was the first one who had. Luckily, it's not the first HVBJB they've done - just as part of the recall where the "gift" was provided.
