You asked "Would you buy it again?" Yes, I did buy it again. My 2022 MME GTPE was totaled in a crash where my wife and I were not injured, and we could even drive the car away. The Mach-E was by far the best car I have ever owned, so I wanted to replace it with another Mach-E. Thanks to the competitive price and fantastic rebate offered by Ford on a lease of a 2024 MME GT, I replaced the old one with a new one. I am glad that I did! Even though I am not a fast or aggressive driver, I really appreciate the acceleration of the GT and the customized ride of the MagneRide suspension. Two trips to Phoenix in 113 degree temperatures were very comfortable inside the car, so I did not feel the need for ventilated seats. I also suggest that you look into purchasing a 2024 model because of the great deals being offered, rather than wait for a 2025 model. Also, the 2025 GT will not have ventilated seats, and I think you may like that model the best.

I love my 2021 GT-PE. I hate the 5 second limit. I used to hate the service department at thhe nearest dealer to my office. My new service advisor owns a MME and is responsive so now I am between lukewarm and like for the service department. ??

That said I am looking for a 2024 exactly the same as my 2021, just without the 5 second limit. So yes, I am looking to buy again. ??

Phoenix resident here: We own a '24 Ionic 6 with black ventilated seats and a '23 MME with gray perforated seats. There is little difference, and certainly not a deal-breaker either way!

I personally wouldn't buy another one. The quality is much more inferior than the Prius that I currently own. Because I own a Driving School, I tend to switch to different vehicles once in a while. Whenever I switch from my Prius to the MME, I just hate the "cheapness" of the MME. The kicker is that the MME cost much more and while it is a totally different car, there is just no comparison between the two quality wise.

I always wonder what kind of cars the people have driven to suggest that the MME is their best car ever owned? I would say it ranks around the middle for me.

Of all the vehicles that I have ever owned, I would lean towards my Lexus ES 350 as my favorite brand (quality and ride).

If you can get a smokin deal on an MME, I would maybe (strong maybe) consider purchasing another MME.

I would shop around if I were you but maybe all of the EV's are "cheap" in cabin quality?

Just my two cents.

I’m on my second Mach-E, very satisfied. As for the ventilated seats, I have them in my Lightning but I don’t mss them in the Mach-E. As for keeping the interior cool they do sell a panoramic sun shade, you can get an after market or buy the one Ford sells.
If you do buy a new Mach-E, create an account at Ford.com with your VIN, you will find that you have ”Ford Pass Rewards”, with which you can use for anything you buy at a Ford dealership or online. That’s what I used to purchase my panoramic sun shade! VMK9Z58514A52A

I thought they were a cis-female? It would be interesting to see the models out of costume and in regular street clothes.

The dealership question (not limited to Ford or EVs for that matter) is the biggest wildcard for me.

If you had asked me last year I'd say it's a bit of a disaster, but the last trip I made to the dealership I bought the car (a tried a few others recently) was a pleasant-ish surprise.

They have upgraded their L2 chargers to Wallbox units running 40A and have installed two Jule DCFC chargers with big Ford logos affixed to the top. The assistant GM is driving a Lightning full-time and actually had a semi-knowledgeable conversation with me about EVs.

The litmus test will be this week - I've had a charge fault thrown any time I charge over 32A on a L2 for the past year, and no dealer has been able to help. Last week I was able to show the assistant GM the issue using their new Wallbox units. Last year they did not have a powerful enough EVSE, could not reproduce what I was seeing, and blew me off without trying to fix it.

So...now that they can finally reproduce it I'm cautiously optimistic that they will finally be able to service the car properly.

So, yeah, it seems to be getting a bit better, at least in my neck of the woods.

I haven’t had any luxury cars. And I don’t think this is the best car I’ve ever had. But it was the best EV for me back in 2022. And I don’t think the interior is cheap

I’m not sure if I will buy another one or not when it’s time for me to get a new car.
The only thing I’m bummed about is the 5 second limit on my $60K GT.

My cars.
96 Camaro SS
97 Mustang GT
01 Corvette
03 BMW 330i
06 GTO
11 Mustang GT
22 Mach E GT

Cars I bought my wife
03 Jetta Sport
06 Grand Caravan
09 Grand Caravan
15 Explorer Sport
23 BMW i4 40

And I had a 13 Nissan LEAF for a few years while I parked the 11 GT. Now that’s a car with cheap interior.

I’m thinking about a BMW i5 M60 though.

I will not be caught dead in a Prius. Ever.

Probably it's ill-advised to "assume the gender" of any of these human beings.

But they sure do look like the kind of people who know how to choose the best cars!

2022 Premium extended range, 24k km in two years. Only issues were wind noise from the driver side Mirror and one incomplete OTA update which required one week at the dealership. Ford BEV team assigned a case worker and offered a generous amount of Ford points for the inconvenience. In Niagara Falls Canada it doesn’t get really hot so no need for cooled seats. Only other issue is significant range loss when the temps drop below freezing but this is an issue with all EVs. Our dealer here offers excellent service including pick up/drop off from the house so no complaints. in two years tire rotation and annual inspection cost less than $150.00.
Plan to keep the car for 7 years so purchased premium care extended warranty to cover non EV components.

I’ve had my Mach E Premium for almost four years now and absolutely wouldn’t replace it.

I’d get a Mach E Rally

I love my 2023.5 premium, and the luxury rivals 2 Lexus SUVs I have owned. The computer has issues but no more than my PC at work.

The Toyota Prius has received some of the Top Safety Pick honors. That may explain why you wouldn't be caught "dead in a Prius". In using the word "ever" is bragging though but I will take the compliment.

I will give you just one example of many on how the MME doesn't stack up to the quality interior of my 2024 Prius. The steering wheel adjuster. As I have stated before, I instruct Driver's Education and the Steering Wheel gets adjusted on almost every drive. The Steering Wheel on my Prius glides quite smoothly whereas on the MME, you need extra force to adjust it. It drives my crazy (no pun intended) each time that happens.

I could go on but the interior along with the fitment of the body panels is not good on the MME. Because Ford has been around 100 plus years, that should be solved but it isn't. Cheapness is Ford's middle name now and the vast majority of owners ignore the little details so why wouldn't Ford shave cost on quality?

Once again, thank you for the compliment. That was very nice of you. We need more kindness in the World and you are helping out in that regard.

Hi all,
I’ve been on this forum before looking at a Mach-e before we started our EV journey. In 2022 we bought a 2019 CPO Jaguar I-pace with 9k miles. We love the car, hate the dealer service. Unfortunately, we just found out that our car has a battery recall and Jaguar is going to buy back all the US 2019 models instead of replacing the battery.
Truthfully, we hate that decision. We finally got all the known problems fixed and we really like the car.
The one deciding factor for a Ipace over the Mach E was ventilated seats. Now I see the 2025 Mach-e will have them, we may be looking into one.
What is everyone’s opinion on the Mach E? Would you buy it again? Everyone manufacturer has horror stories. Has service gotten better?
thanks
2022 California Route 1 with extended battery, just turning 50,000 miles. No regrets. Only had a few minor glitches, easily remedied. I read everything I can about the Mach E and other comparable models, and as yet I haven’t found anything better for me. This forum has been extremely helpful. My dealer, Toycen Ford, has been exceptional, but other owners have not been as fortunate in that regard. If I bought new today, it would be a 2025 Mach E.
