I know all about not really trusting the GOM, etc, etc, but this morning I got in my car and saw this on the GOM:!
Ford Mustang Mach-E GOM glitch: 509 miles range! IMG_5276

Clearly some sort of glitch due to a bad data point somewhere. I drove for a few miles, and while the battery % dropped as normal, the GOM stayed at 509 miles. This persisted even after turning the car off for a few minutes. So, my question is, can I reset the GOM myself to fix this, and if so how? Should I worry about the bad data that caused this?
Thanks!

I would only worry of this persists, expect it to go away.

You can reset your EV history. That will reset the GOM, which will then adjust to your driving and temperature over time.

If you have been driving a lot and getting 7.3 miles per kilowatt, then it's accurate...

Wow, 1118 miles on a 100% charge! 12.3 mi/KWH!!! I think this is a new record. DING DING DING DING! You win a kewpie doll! ??

Other than resetting your driving history, I don’t know how you’d go about fixing this. It may or may not reset itself, but I wouldn’t count on it. ??

And I don't even have an ER battery, so its more like 16mi/kwh! ?
If it doesn't fix itself when I go back to the car after work, I'll try resetting the driving history. It almost seems like one of the weird glitches that sometimes pop up right as its doing an OTA update, but I think I've got everything current...

Well, I did “Reset EV Driving history” in the car, and nothing changed. Still exactly 509mi on the GOM despite down to 38% battery. I wonder what I have to do to get it to “forget” that number…

You wouldn't happen to have a hundred mile downhill (both ways) commute, would you?

For completeness, just want to follow up to confirm the GOM number slowly drifted back down to normal after the EV driving history reset, but it took some miles of driving
