I had #6205, the first one delivered in San Diego, and had a blast for three years. But under Ford Options I needed to make a decision and it all cam down to poor service. I was losing battery charge rapidly and it wouldn't charge up. For three years, every time I went to the dealer it was a hassle and upsetting. Their response to everything was "no", even to putting the side panel logo back on when it came off in the car wash. This time they wanted me to leave the car with them for a few days to diagnose and of course, no loaner or replacement even under warranty. As much as I loved "Trigger" I didn't want the problems of dealing with the Ford dealer any more. So Trigger has a new home at Carmax (they offered $5,000 more than the Ford dealer) and I'm driving an Audi Q4 e-tron. It was a fun 3 years, but at what we pay for cars, I want to feel like I and my business are important. Never felt that with Ford. Best luck to all, I'm out.

So far I have not gotten the warm and fuzzies out of the dealers closest to my home. Should anything else happen I am going to try one that’s less convenient but I hear is much better. I am sorry you had to have a bad experience. Hoping your new car and dealer network treat you well. ??

I'm now looking for my 3rd dealer - 1 hour from home vs. 6 minutes. I hope this is the "one" :)

I've heard all good things about E-Tron.
Enjoy the new wheels!

I don't have enough time in a week to write up what all my closest dealer dropped the ball on, which in turn totally sours the experience. I agree, for what we feel we pay for a car we should feel valued, but as the median car price is now around $40k'ish the hack and slash '23 GTPE price isn't far off of that now.
Enjoy the Audi.

To be honest, I am ready to buy one but my experiences so far with dealers is pathetic. I find several dealerships with good pricing but 1,2,3) do not respond to any of my attempts to email them at different emails or asking about availability using website button, 4) will not confirm pricing after repeatedly asking, every reply from them states they are excited to work with me and let them know what I need, I reply confirm pricing, and I get another email asking if I have everything I need, repeat. 5) they reply for me to come in and chat and will not provide info requested.

Apparently, they are not really interested in selling vehicles but are more interested in hoarding them.

There's your problem all along. You named a Ford after a movie-famous Pontiac.
LOL. I didn’t name my Ford after a Pontiac, but I am a Pontiac dog. ??

Sucks to hear about crappy dealer service. I'm in N San Diego county and about to go to the dealer for the first for the recall servicing. I hope my experience is better than yours. Please let us know how the E tron works out. Nice car but looks like crappy range.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with your Ford Dealer. My car ahs been virtually trouble free for nearly 2 years, and the 2 times I needed something (the software and hardware recalls) Mossy Ford in Mission Bay has been very responsive.

I have never had better than a neutral experience with any car dealer. My attempt to purchase an R1T was soured by the slow, non-responsive communication with the Rivian "guide" and their terrible order of operations in the purchasing process, including the requirement that you commit $1,000 before being able to see the final price of the the vehicle or any trade-in valuation.

Good luck! My dealership and I have a decent working relationship, it’s not perfect, but if I ever buy another Ford product and it’s not just a hunt for the best deal, I’d prefer to use them. Unless some major things change, I just don’t think I’m going to buy brand new again soon, and I’m seriously thinking other brands.

which dealer do you visit? I went to Bellevue for my first recall and center console creak fix in 2022 and then Pierre Ford did pickup/drop off of my car for the HVBJB. Both cases, the service was good and stuff got taken care of.
