It is a little weird to make your first post one that tells us that you're leaving. We never knew you were there!
This has nothing to do with anything posted here, but today I've decided to tell Jennifer Lawrence that I'm breaking up with her. Good riddance! She's been a terrible girlfriend.

A rep reached Jennifer Lawrence for comment and she replied, "Who?!?"

Although the Mach e has many fine features, I cannot rely on it to take a trip of several hundred miles to see my relatives. I cannot take the chance of having my car brick. The software update plainly does not adequately resolve this issue. It is untenable that Ford will not properly address this problem. I am going to sell this vehicle and buy something that I can rely on
After my trip to the beach I feel the same way. Worried the entire time will it charge... will the only charging station within 150 miles be working properly.... When will the SVS or the dreaded SSN message pop up.... all that and $60K

Better than worrying about it catching on fire (Tycan, Bolt), or the wheels falling off (Toyota, Subaru)

$60K is now... kinda average.

Greetings

other than powertrain malfunction problems, and numerous software glitches that I cannot resolve, the car has been great. And to those of you who complain about bloviating or that this is my single post, more power to you. Good luck with your dealing with your defective cars and with dealing with Ford in the future
My backup car is a ‘17 Honda Accord Hybrid that gets 50 mpg, range is 650 miles. It’s a great car if you’re leaving the EV family. All EV’s have some issues and good luck in the next one.

My ‘21 Premium AWD ER has had no issues in 11 months. It’s a crapshoot. You pulled the short-straw.

My line is fire. I heard Tycans and Bolts have that issue. I guess you should avoid those for sure.
Woah, I hadn't heard about Tycan's catching on fire, I thought it was only Bolt and BMW i3, i4, iX, and Kona.

Toyota and Subaru have their wheels falling off their EVs. Ford has the HVB junction box frying on higher spec models.

I believe VW was having issues with their EVs but I can't remember the specifics.

Lots of EVs are having issues these days as many of the manufacturers are new in the space.

It's unfortunate that you only created an account to participate in the community after deciding to get rid of your Mach-E, perhaps some of the members could have assisted you with getting some things addressed sooner.

I hope you can find a car that fits you better but you may have to go with a Tesla to get something that is more established than more legacy car makers.

Between the panel gaps, and the mowing down child sized mannequins… you can’t count on Tesla either. Best bet, Crocs. Preferably with the high performance heel straps down.

But...that Porsche fire color is so amazing. Nobody else can burn quite like they do. It literally looks like $100 bills in the fireplace!

No idea why people are being mean. It is just a car. I still have so many software glitches that annoys me. And a door panel rattle sound that I can't get rid of. I know ford is going the cheap route on the HVBJB issue, fix after breakdown instead of full replacement. Not surprised someone would want to sell, especially when the used Mach e price is good right now.

Anyway, i am more curious on what your next car will be. Going back to ICE or a new EV?
