I'm installing a Grizzl-E Classic NEMA 14-50 Plug with 24 Feet Regular Cable (GR1-14-24-Regular).

I need to set the dip switches for 24 Amps since I'm plugging it into a 30-Amp dryer outlet.

However, the online manual shows 3 dip switches numbered 3-2-1. But the device has 4 dip switches numbered 1-2-3-4.

Has anybody else already solved this riddle?

Thanks

It's weird that it's not on current version of the GrizzlE manual available for download, but based on the copy I downloaded some months ago when I got mine, there are two hardware versions floating around with different numbers of dip switches. I attached it - hope it helps!

ETA: Doh -- the 4 switch setting is indeed listed on most up to date version on website. Not sure how I missed it. Page 15.

Yeah, so the manual you attached is Grizzl-E Manual v. 7.0 , but the one on their website is Grizzl-E Manual v. 5.0: Grizzl-e-Manual.pdf (grizzl-e.com)

Yours is clearly the correct manual for my model, even though the circuit board is stamped "GRIZZL-E Rev.5.0 2020-09-10".

As a software engineer, I know that version numbers often don't make much sense. So don't assume that the hardware version and the manual version have any correlation.

Thanks!
