I've read through all of the post here and it seems there is so much contradictory information on the correct dip switch settings. I'm just trying to find the correct settings for charging at 48a on a 60a breaker. Also anyone have a clue why the manual has so many different settings for 48a, 60a CB?

I appreciate your help!

Use what it says on the red dip switch block. The silkscreen on the board is opposite on early revisions.

I think it’s set for 48A by default so you don’t have to change anything.

If you cannot trust which way is ON and which way is OFF, run an experiment.

The following is based on the diagram on the first post of:
https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...allation-diy-instructions-writeup.3151/page-5

Set all switches to one direction, then set switch 2 to the opposite direction. You have one of two settings:
A) ON OFF ON ON ON
B) OFF ON OFF OFF OFF

A is set for 48 Amps
B is set for 12 Amps

Go charge your car for a couple of hours and see how many miles were added, and you can figure out whether you have A or B, and therefore, which way the switches are ON or OFF.

I finally have my charge station connecting this morning. I decided to play with the DIP switch settings again and moved all to the left. That is either 48 amps or an invalid setting which still defaults to 48 amps. So either changing the DIP switches fixed it connecting to the server or it's just coincidence.

Just to add, all switches to the left is how it came out of the box.
