Can someone explain why the GT standard range is rated at 280 miles with a 91 kWh battery, while a Premium with AWD and extended range is rated at 300 miles with an 88 kWh battery? The GT has a higher capacity battery, but less range than the extended range Premium model. Is the power distributed differently between the front and rear motors on the GT vs. Premium AWD? What does Ford mean by "upgraded eAWD" on the GT, i.e. how is it different than the eAWD on the Premium model? Thanks for any insight.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm referring to 2025 models.
