I put the Hankook's on my car around 9000 miles ago. My car currently is a 21 with 50K miles. I'm seeing close to what I was seeing when the car was new with the Michelins. Tires are quiet, ride better than the OEM's. Not great in water but I'm not sure any low resistance tire has solved that yet.
you think OEM does better in water than these?

Its time to get my GT some new shoes and I don't want summers anymore since I drive it year round and don't want to manage a second set of wheels and tires. I was looking at these and they SAY they're all season, but this cross section of the tire leaves me suspicious....

Ride comfort and rolling resistance will be improved as promised, but these things would hydroplane like a mother in heavy rain and any bit of snow is going to pack into those tight little cervices and turn this tire into greased owl crap. I guess its Michelin or Conti's for me.
I'm very happy w Conti dws-06

Hi @Discount Tire, myself and a number of other members in another thread ( Detailed Hankook Ion & EV summer tires info (by Engineering Explained) | MachEforum - Ford Mustang Mach-E News, Owners, Discussions, Community ) are very interested in buying the summer version of these tires.

Doesn't look like its listed on your website yet, am I missing it or have they not hit shelves just yet? If the latter is there any timeline or could you update us when they're available?
Thank you for the tag and my apologies for the delay!

That is correct, we do not list the new Ion Evo (summer) on our website just yet. We are waiting for internal part numbers to be created and once this is done, the Ion Evo will display on our website. I do not have an ETA on this unfortunately, but as soon as there's an update available, we'll be sure to share.

With that being said, I did reach out to Hankook and this tire is available in select sizes. I asked about the 245/45R-20 (Material number 1033441) specifically as this is the only OE Mach-E size offered, and the CSR I spoke with stated they do have limited availability right now. Once this stock is sold through, replacement inventory is due in towards the end of the year.

Looking into pricing right now and will report back.

Thanks! Also doesn’t need to be exactly the 245/45-20 size. I think people would still be interested in the 255/X-20 or close enough sizes as well. Please let us know if they get back to you about those sizes as well!

First time post, so hopefully this is well received and in the correct location, but I was reading through this forum in search for new tires for my new to me 2021 MME CR1 and found that Walmart has them on sale. I was able to get them priced matched through Discount Tire.

Very nice. The size for the premium is currently not on sale but usually goes on sale every 60 to 90 days or so.

Aside from the momentarily harrowing experience of installation at Discount Tire the tires drive really well and have taken some of the bounce out of the rear along with being very quiet.

Side note: I warned the sales manager that the frame rails were very close to the battery and that they needed to be very careful on the placement of the jacks when installing. He acknowledged they do tons of EVs (they had a M3 in one of the bays at the time which made me feel better), but as soon as it was in the bay and the other techs started jacking it up without looking where they were placing them I panicked. They got one of the four jacks under and were lifting before one of the senior techs came running over and yelled at them to stop. They then came back with the rubber pucks and placed those in the frame rails and everything went smoothly after.

I will definitely being buying a set that was linked to earlier in this forum along with the sticker that comes with it to avoid this scare in the future.

I ordered a set in early June when Walmart had them on sale. Discount/Americas tired matched it and ordered it. I finally got them installed last week. I had installed the red colored puck on the jack points so I made sure to let the installation folks know to jack only at the red pucks. They did an excellent (and speedy job, was in and out in under 40 minutes) job.
So far after about 10 days and a couple hundred miles with the Hankook tires, I have to say they are quieter and smoother than the factory Michelin Primacy tires. So far very happy with them.
