I have found the connection poits are very fragile, both on the car and on the cover. Two of them have partially broken on mine so I have had to stop using the cover.
What are people doing with them that makes them break so frequently? I saw someone mention putting stuff on top of that cover piece... I was never under the impression that it was intended as a shelf, just something so people can't look in your cargo area for stuff to smash/grab.

Nothing on top of the cover, just golf clubs below. Incidently I have to remove the driver from the bag as it is too long for the width of the storage area. This is the first car I have had this problem with after 30 years of Subaru ownership

My '23 Select did not come with it. Apparently it's not included for Select's but is standard on Premiums and above. It's not available as an accessory, but the parts counter can order it.
It’s not included on Selects here in the US either.

25' Premium - It wasn't installed but I found it under my all weather trunk mat.

Definitely comes in handy, at least for me.

They're not talking about the cover. They're talking about the floor in the trunk. It can be in two positions. The upper positions allows it to be perfectly inline with the seat backs when they are folded forward so you have a continuous load floor with. With the load floor in the lower position, the seat backs are at a higher level and it can make loading stuff more difficult.

Underneath the load floor is where you find stuff like the mobile charger, tire inflation kit, etc.

Interesting! I hadn't even noticed that was possible with the cargo floorboard, I'll have to check it out at some point. Fairly certain mine is at the 'lower' position currently because the cargo area mats I bought have a 1" lip on them and that only just comes up to the gate ledge when the rear gate is open. I'll have to check out how to do it the other way. I haven't done anything with the back seats down yet.

I agree, I never put anything on top of the cover. Possibly it was 'impacted from underneath by my golf clubs but I did not notice that.
