The main issue is that heat is not indicated anywhere on the screen unless you go into a sub menu. This is a poor design choice and should be fixed. A/C is indicated (and selectable) from the screen at any time, why not heat?

Thanks. Just a guess.
Without delving into the history of the mme 12v mx here, because that would require knowledge of ancient Greek and early Old English, I'm sure, the High Voltage Battery will maintain the 12v battery while the car is in full power on mode, and to a degree when the car is full off. The ac fan will turn off when the car is off.

If you're getting 12v warnings when the car has been sitting, look for phantom drains. Are the lights on? (There was/is a mechanical issue with Ford's light switches). Do you have anything that draws current when the car is off, such as an always-on dash cam, etc.

@Mach-Lee could explain all this in detail, but then he'd have to kill you, and that'd just ruin your afternoon. :p There are more than a few threads about the 12v battery in this car on the forum. Many no longer apply.

It seems you need a bit of clarification on the term A/C. It isn't only cooling. It is "conditioning the air to be at a conformable temperature" whether that is to cool or to heat the cabin.

Pressing the A/C button so that the indicator is off is the same as turning off both cooling and heating.

So, in a way you can consider the Heat button the option to make the A/C button "only cooling".

Here is what CoPilot has to say about it:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Heater is on by default? 1761855104795-bx

As I said my main complaint/desire would be to control this range of where it switches between the cooling/heating. But that isn't available.

Anecdotal operating experience - almost 5 years of having an MME and I’ve had the climate in Auto for about 99.8% of the time. I use the auto 1,2,3 settings and occasionally I vary the temperature a degree or two ( I use 74 most of the time). If it’s nice out, I open the window and just leave the AC set. If it’s cold somewhere that i am, I also use seat heat and steering wheel heat. If it’s been parked out in the sun too long, I’ll use max AC, but if I don’t, the car goes pretty strong on its own. All that works pretty well. Auto is good.

Select AUTO mode 1, 2 or 3. If AC light comes on, turn it OFF. Go to Climate screen, shut off E-heat if it is on. Adjust the vents to your preference. You now get fresh air no matter the temp setting. Your setting will be remembered even after a Key ON Key OFF cycle. That the way my 2021 operates.

Have you been using the Accessory mode? If so, stop now. Never use it again.
Pretty much this. There’s rarely a reason to use accessory mode. I used it this Wednesday a fair bit but that’s only because FDRS made me use it. In normal operations, not any reason at all.

For those who might say the heat button being on does nothing if no heat is required, that's not the case. If you are parked with the AC off and heater-on in warm temperatures (no heat required), there will be a pump running that will turn on/off with the heat button. There's definitely something happening with the heat button, even in the summer.
