The liftgate button? It's from a 2020 Exploder. There are other mods required to make it work. see @markboris thread on Adding an Inside Liftgate Power Switch. Is that from a F-150 or from a MME ?
I live in Maine, so pretty much Canada. So far when ive waken up in the morning around 6 and leave at 630 its been 30° F i usually blast it to 85 while plugged in and then maintain 75° on my trip in. My battery only goes down 10% but i take the backway to work and usually drive 60 to 55 MPH. Its a 40 mile round trip so i dont worry too much about power consumption.Hi,
As we are slowly bracing for colder weather, my MME is my first EV and I know we don’t have a heat pump (yet). I would like to get your input on the car’s heating system as I anticipate winter cold in the National Capital Region. For those who’ve already went through a Canadian winter, how’s the cabin heat with the resistance heater ?
i just want to set my expectations ?
This is what i implore upon people, if you live in an area with a cold winter bite the bullet and have a level 2 put in. Maintaining the battery heat and charging the car is imperative in a cold climate they will thank themselves later.Heat will struggle and you may have fogging issues when it’s below -20°C outside. You will want to keep the car plugged in as much as possible when it’s below 0°C to keep the battery warm. 240V charger becomes necessary (120V won’t keep battery warm). Highly suggest you use programmed departure times when it’s below freezing to minimize range loss and poor performance.
Two winters in Wisconsin with no issues. Heating and defrosting work fine.Hi,

You need to trade that sucker in for a dog sled!EVERYONE IN CANADA you *must* buy a 12V heated blanket. Even if you don't drive a MachE. Even if you don't drive an EV! Heck, even if you don't even have a car, you could plug it into a jackery or something. Best device ever.
But if you have a MachE it's especially handy as a range extender. Put it over your legs, wear a jacket, turn down the cabin heat, turn on the seat heater and steering wheel heater. Enjoy the ride.
Yesterday driving from Sandpoint ID to Calgary AB via Fernie the temps outside temperature went down to 4C or so, so we busted out the 12V blanket from the frunk and plugged it in. Cosy ride.
I'm really looking forward to winter now.
