I used to charge to 90%. After the supposed "fix" for the HVBJB the MME is charging to 100%. When I go and try to fix it I find that I can't just set the charging level like I did before but have to go through a whole charging time selection process and always hangs up with "FordPass isn't responding". Anyone have any suggestions?

Set up your charging schedule in the car via SYNC.

Yup, this. Either you lost your charging locations with an update, or your charging location "broke." If you have none, set up a new one from the car's screen, not the app. If you have yours there and it just isn't working, delete it, plug in, unplug, and then rebuild the location again.

My case is similar. There are three places I can set my charging level to 90%. On my Juicebox app, on the FordPass app, and in the car itself. I would think that if any of those are set to 90%, that’s as far as it would charge. As I said, all three are set to 90%. My home is still set up as a charging location. But the car now charges to 100%. Should I use the same remedy you were saying for this person? Delete charging location. Plug in the charger. Unplug the charger. Redo the charging location.

Even though it may save the home location, it still wipes out the schedule when updates occur. Hit the edit button on the home location and re-enter your schedule. I just had to do this after the recall OTA, and almost every time I get an OTA. One pedal mode also gets turned off every update, for all profiles.

Setting the JB app to any level is a waste of time, since JB can't tell what level the car is at. Therefore, JB assumes a level of 0, and charges to 90%, meaning the car is overriding it. Or, you can use the app to sync up with the car manually, then it might match up. I never set the level in JB.

You do not have to delete the location, Ford already did it for you.

Plug in, charge for a few minutes.
Unplug.
Set location as Home.
Set hours and charging level.
Plug in and charge.

Also reset Home in Navigation.

Interesting, the OTAs don’t delete my one pedal driving. They do wreak havoc on my P a a K and Apple CarPlay though.

Thanks. I will try this.

Most updates don't delete anything. When it does, it's because Ford messed up. And never notes it in the update notes.

The recall update does undo things like the charging location, and Home in navigation.
