It's 90 deg and range is 291. Highest our GTPE has clocked in 5000 miles and 6 month of ownership. My wife drives on whisper avg 45mph locally showing 3.5kwh avg per trip. Today is our first long drive 190 miles round trip. Will let everyone know outcome.

You’ll get the best efficiency if you do a full charge and set a departure time. My last road trim I was able to get 339 miles, averaging 3.7mi/kWh.

Every other trip I’ve completed without setting a departure time for preconditioning, I’ve noticed a rapid % drop from 100-95 in the first 15-20 miles of driving, as the vehicle is using more energy to condition the cabin and batteries.

I'm just over 9K miles in 6 months and now that the weather has warmed up here in NorCal (90˚-100˚), my GOM displayed 270 @ 100% today. That is the highest I've seen on my GTPE but because I have extremely wide max performance summer tires, I don't expect to get as high as yours. My average mi/kWh is 3.3 for the total milage. In the winter months I could barely reach 185. I only drive in Unbridled with one pedal drive mode and I'm not light on the accelerator.

I had the 21P22 customer satisfaction update done on my car which included a "display range accuracy update" if that made any difference. I don't pay attention to the GOM nor do I care about range otherwise I would have gotten a different trim and not upgraded the tires. Just posting this for comparison with others.

I posted a nearly identical situation last week. Tagged 291 of range with Temps in the upper 80s the first week of June. I usually drive reasonable, which helps, but I can't help but to think a few kWh have been opened from the reserve.

Can I get an award for driving the GTPE like a performance vehicle and getting low miles during the summer in Florida?

I’m part of early access with the “more accurate” GOM and here was my display today:

As long as you can tap into someone else's juice, you be you and enjoy that badboy!

Yeah, hypermiling a GTPE destroys my brain. I'm all with you on this one.

If you want an MME to drive in whisper in the city maxing out at 45mph get a lower trim and save yourself tens of thousands. But I guess, to each their own.

or drive on full acceleration for 5 seconds, and it will sort itself, I'm told. ?

We traveled the 190 miles temp at 90 deg a.c. running avg highway speed 65 mph. 10 miles at 40mph in storm 40 mile an head winds rain really bad. Managed 189 range used.

190 miles clocked at 3.0 kWh at 68 mph a.c. running and outside temp 90. Very pleased on first highway trip.
