Hissing from trunk

This morning I was loading some stuff in the trunk. Car hadn't been started at all today, was plugged in and level 2 charging though. I noticed there is a hissing sound coming from inside the car in back right side of the trunk. Can hear it through the small vents in the back right side. Seems very constant. Can't hear it at all from the outside of the car. Doesn't happen on the left side at all. Any idea what would be hissing back there?

The only two items that are behind the right rear quarter panel are the B&O amp and subwoofer. Not sure why they would be making noise if they even are or what else it could be.

Maybe your sub amplifier is going bad or something, but there's nothing back there that should normally be hissing.

i would think his tpms would have alerted him on that if there was a leak, but i like the way you think!

My bet is that the car is attempting to make exhaust sounds. It's suffering from "Real Mustang" envy and trying to compensate. There must be an ICE Mustang nearby.

I'm liking these answers. It did sound like a tire hole hiss but it was only audible from inside the car. With the hatch closed you couldn't hear anything near the tire area. I did notice though that it stopped slowly when I unplugged the car from my wall charger. I'll have to keep checking on it. Its very subtle and wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't been in trunk loading some stuff before heading out.

If it stops when you unplug, I wonder if it's coolant flowing.
