Hi All,
My wife and I are planning a trip to LA form the Bay Area next month. We're visiting some friends who live in the Hollywood area. Has anyone found any decent hotels that offer overnight charging in the area. I know that part of LA is a bit of a charging desert but I was hoping to avoid wasting time a at DC fast charger by finding lodging with some AC chargers.

Normally I'd be concerned about charging on I5 but with the supercharger network that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.

Thanks in advance.

Several Bonvoy (Marriott) properties do and in their search engine you can filtre asking to see only properties with EV. Hilton properties also

I also flew into Burbank and rented a car. Several on this forum talked me out of getting an EV due to costs (I saw some as high as 64kwh) and many “full” according to my EA app. I ended up with a VW Taos yes good gas mileage but I’d never buy one. I’m so happier than ever with my MMEGT

Yeah that's been my typical MO in the past. Just can't justify the cost of flying+a rental for this short trip.

We were there last October- it is a charging desert. There was an EA station a block from our hotel, but it was full with many EVs waiting. I went back at midnight and still had to wait 20 minutes for a spot; it automatically cut off at 80%.
Plenty of charging options out of the city along I5 however. I figure most LA denizens live in apartments or condos and can’t charge at home.
