I charge exclusively at home (except for a couple of short road trips) and recently the system has been ignoring
my presets for time and charge level. The first time it happened I had set it for 95% and it charged to 100%. The second time had set it to 80% and when I checked it it was at 87%. I unplugged and then got a message in the FordPass app that charging was 'accidentally' interrupted. This is a real problem I no longer feel safe. putting it
on charge over night with a preset charge limit.
I called Ford to explain the issue. I was bounced to 5 different people before they just terminated the call.
Any ideas/

Does your FordPass app say the correct "Target charge level" when you first plug in at home?

If no, you could have a GPS issue where the car thinks its not at your home charger and in those cases 100% is the default.

In FordPass, go into Charge Settings, and verify that "Use preferred charge settings" is enabled. I have found that after some Updates, it defaults to "Charge when plugged in" which will top you up to 100%

Yep, did that. The interesting thing in the app - when charging if I click 'details' it gives the end time for charging to 100% - even when use preferred settings is selected. Could this be a Fordpass bug?

Others have had similar issues. One fix was to delete your charge location (home), then start charging for a bit, stop charging and reset your home charging location in your car. Not saying this will work but it may. For myself I have never set anything in the car via FordPass. I do monitor my car charge and auto start with it but made my charge setting only in the car.
