Having the charging cable (between the car and Wallbox) heat up isn't ideal. I have a Wallbox Pulsar Max running at 32A and it doesn't get above body temperature -- but it's winter on this side of the world, and as noted, ambient temperatures matter.

Keep the cable fully uncoiled, and make sure it's uniformly warm, i.e. if there are any "hot spots" then that would probably be a concern.

(Note for everyone, OP doesn't have a generic "wallbox" -- it's a Wallbox-brand EVSE -- but anyone with this brand of charger might be able to share how hot their cable gets?)

A fault or defect in the premises wiring cannot affect the temperature of the EVSE to car cable.
As Mach-Lee said, a 55F rise above ambient is not necessarily abnormal.
