hood alignment

It seems in many of the photos the hood and fender don't line up over the headlight. I hope they can adjust this.

I wouldn’t worry that much. I sincerely hope they will be perfect on production units. All the ones you have seen in the videos are pre-production.

It might be as intended. All of them I've seen so far (3) have looked the same.

I'm sure it is by design. It is that way on the two I have seen in person, as well as in every photo I have seen so far including the renderings used on the Mach-E ordering website. Relax, it is not assembled at the former NUMMI plant in Fremont, California ?

That's not an alignment issue it's designed like that. Not sure why but I'm sure there is a reason for it. Could be to avoid hard contact when open closing hood?

Aerodynamics maybe. You'd be surprised how detailed and nitnoid they have to get to lower drag.

I think it is part aero, and part design & material- to line them up perfectly the fender point above the headlight would have to come to too fine an edge to be durable. Either that or you put a point out on the hood or change the angle of the headlight or hood shape. I believe it is only noticeable, or problematic from one viewpoint as in that photo.

No doubt the design team went over this area a number of times.

It did bother me at first but not really when viewed in person. It was actually the first thing I looked at when I went to the road show.
