How to convert reservation to order?

I thought ford.com would email me when my reservation was ready to be converted to an order; ford.com says this:

Your Reservation has been placed. As soon as final pricing is available for your acceptance, you will be invited to complete the order and progress to step 2, ‘Order Placed’.

My dealer has recently contacted me and invited me to come in and "finalize my reservation."

It should not be necessary for you to come in person to finalize your reservation. Call them and ask what's up.

Has Anyone just left a reservation? Did you ultimately receive an invite from ford.com to place your order?

Dealer sales manager advised "GT allocation is going to be tight, so the sooner you get (your order) in the more likely you are to get one" which already seems pushy. I didn't think MME's had a limit.. I mean they are making 2022's as well right?

FWIW, my dealer made me come in to convert the reservation to an order. I came in, told them to order it, watched the salesman click a button on his computer, and went back home.

You can’t convert a GT reservation to an order yet. The dealer probably just wants you to come in so he can try to talk you into buying something else.

Dealers are used to forcing whatever they have on the lot onto their customers. They can't all seem to wrap their head around the Mach-E order system where the customer actually gets what *they* want.
