I posted a similar topic, but apparently no one saw it. I experienced an issue this last weekend where I was able to DCFC just fine on EA and Tesla on the way to my destination, but on the way back it would only charge at high speeds (148Kw+) for 5-7 minutes then slow down to 5Kw. No errors, no alerts, the charge handle wasn't hot, the charge port didn't feel hot. I tried with and without preconditioning. The ambient temp was between 72-76 degrees.

Trying to figure out how I can tell if it's my charge port, a software bug, extremely bad luck with chargers, etc..

When I got home, my car charged fine at 9.6Kw from 10% to 80%.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

No idea but if you have one of those code readers you could check to see if you have an error code. Or post on the thread where people can search your VIN for error codes. That way you will know if something is going on with your car versus something more likely with the charging stations.

Looks like the temp sensors in the charge port aren't reporting properly. Getting codes P0EE7 and P2E4F. Have an appointment tomorrow to diagnose the issue.
