According to Ford VP Darren Palmer? Yes.

But it’s been quite a while since he promised that. Summer 2023.
Right after the BC updates are finished rolling out.

Coming soon… ?‍♂

Is there really a noticeable difference in newer car or packages?

So far, from a standstill, my '21 Premium AWD ER has pulled at least 500 feet away from everything before they even start moving with very little effort. A Tesla gave me a go the other day...it was embarrassing for their Model S. ?

I would imagine that the MME is limited by the drive train that it has. In other words there is a limit to the amount of power the MME motors and batteries can produce. I am sure there is more "bandwith" within the power band to increase through programming. I am sure that between Ford and some Programmer/Tuner out there will find a way to get more power out of the MME.....for now, we just sit and wait.

LOL more like removing the entire interior, getting rid of anything that doesn’t move the car, replacing stuff with lighter weight materials, hollowing out bolt heads, gun-drilling stuff, etc. ??
In high school, someone donated a 1970s station wagon with a Chevy 454. The sheet metal was stripped from the car, the seats were welded to beams across the floor, and the rear seats were removed. It was a donut machine! I got pulled over in it right by the school, but the cop let us drive it back to campus. That did help with the acceleration as long as you didn't melt the rear tires.

When I test drove the 4X back in 2021, I remember commenting on the way it seemed to ease into full power when you mash the throttle before the acceleration really kicked in. I thought maybe it was a way to minimize tire slip off the line with those skinny 225s.

The new 4X is nearly as quick to 60mph as the original GT which makes me wonder what its new quarter-mile time and trap speed are.

Someone posted earlier this week....I want to say it was a GT but with the performance upgrade and it was in the 11's with I think a little over 111mph?

2024 GT with the factory performance upgrade. ??

The new 4X probably runs mid-12s at around 108, compared to the old GT running low-to-mid-12s at 104. ??

The 2021-2023 GT motors are capable of 580 hp combined.

Ford definitely limits the power output through the tune beyond just the time, speed, charge % and temperature limits.

Would be fun to see what this car is capable of with the full 580 hp.

11.7 at 114 mph. Ford also advertised these exact numbers for the 2024 GT with performance upgrade.

Still waiting to see someone test a 2024 GT without the performance upgrade. Even just a draggy test would be nice for a comparison.
