I just got my 2023 CR1 back from 12 weeks sitting at a dealer while waiting for a charge port replacement. I dropped it off with 48% SoC and it dropped to 43% during the 12 weeks until it was repaired and recharged.
My SoH reading before dropping it off for the repair was 99.5 via CarScanner. The car was delivered the day before I purchased it on Sep 11, 2023, so my guess is the HVB was as "fresh" as it could be. The 99.5 SoH reading was obtained maybe a week before the trip where the MME stopped charging, and this was after a few road trips with maybe 20 DCFC's total.
I just re-connected my OBD and CarScanner and the SoH is now showing 97.5. I'm not overly concerned, just curious.... Since it was stored at the recommended SoC in the manual of near 50% or lower, why would the HVB loose 2% SoH by sitting for 3 months? Is the reading really accurate or subject to change as I start driving regularly again? I would think that after all of the road trips and DCFC that the initial reading of 99.5 would have been lower, but it seems that sitting at the recommended SoC impacted the SoH even more.
TIA.
