I talked to my guys there and they are going to order me this.

Just an FYI - if they order the Lightning fob from Ford, the trunk button will be a pickup truck. Not sure if that matters to you. I fixed that problem myself, but the fobs from eBay come pre-fixed.

Yes, I had the Lightning and it had a different backing.

The Lightning fobs from eBay has the Mustang logo on the back.

Where did you get the replacement trunk button? Just bought a used lightning fob for significantly cheaper than the modded one on eBay, but would like a different trunk button.

I think you have to be in park for it to appear.

That might have been it. With 1pd it's too easy to think you're in P and not be. I was looking all over the screen whilst my wife kept tapping on the back window. 'Open the back'. I finally shut off the car and used the fob.
