I now have 2 programmed Fobs. Can I program my Own for additional?

I now have two fobs. The OEM and the Ebay one that was programmed by my dealer today. Now that I have two, can I program my own from within the car? Everyone says you need two Admin fobs to add an additional. I do not know if that is true for the Mach E. Any experience? Let me know. Thank you in advance...

I was hoping someone else already did! lol. Anyone looking for another if it does not work? I ordered a wonderful ”compatible“ fob. It was 1/2 the cost of the Ford. We will see if it works.

pretty sure @generaltso said he validated the standard Ford procedure in one of the other million key fob threads.

I don’t have a 3rd fob to confirm, but the directions from the MME service manual were posted on here somewhere that confirm it will work. The same procedure also makes the car display the factory door combo on the instrument cluster, which I’ve confirmed does work.

nope. $38.00. I figured as a third spare, I could live without it. I bought the cheapest one in stock in the USA. It will be here by the end of the week. I found some other information online (from a key guy) that says it will not work, with two already programmed Fobs, and even a third must be dealer programmed. but we shall see.......
