I usually try to speed up and chase them down, drive right up next to them, ask them to pull over, get out of the car and ask them to roll down their windows, then high five them as they look on in confusion and YELL "SAME CAR!"
Ah you’re the one! You scared the crap out of me ?

I wave like a frantic lunatic knowing they won’t see me through the window tint. Embarrasses the crap out of my kids.

Mission Accomplished…

But when I know they can see me, usually a peace sign out the window.

I raise 2 fingers. If they don't acknowledge, I switch it to 1.

We notice every MME we see- my kids play 4 car games- Slugbug, White Tesla, Daddy's Car, and Mommy's Car.

Slugbugs (VW Beetles) let you punch someone (2 for convertibles).
White Teslas earn a point (we earn a lot)
Mommy's Car gets you whatever you want if it's the same color (crazy light blue Taycan) unless it's the other one in our neighborhood.
Daddy's Car usually gets a "Oh, not a GT."

I give a simple, small wave or lift a couple fingers off the top of the steering wheel like a peace sign whenever I see a Mach-E. I get VERY few returns.

But honestly I'm surprised how few MMEs I see in the Twin Cities, MN. I see many more ID.4s than MMEs. Probably have seen more Rivians than MMEs as well.
So a quick follow up on this...

Last night I actually saw another Mach-E. Met it on a 50mph road, so I did a quick wave.

Then I realized I was driving our ICE vehicle and probably left the poor Mach-E driver wondering why some rando was waving at them.

When encountering another Mach E I often just tap the emergency blinkers for a couple of cycles to wave with all four sequential lights.

At closer range, how about proudly yelling "That's not a Mustang"?

I traded in my Challenger for my Mach and the one thing I miss is the "wave". Every Challenger that passed me while driving it made a simple gesture . A wave or a thumbs up or a peace sign. So very cool . Jeep has a similar thing.
I say we do something along those lines. We're a select few at the moment so coming across another Mach driver should be a small thrill. We should acknowledge the other drivers good taste in vehicle purchase and they should recognize ours . It's not like we're everywhere like Teslas .
Who's with me ?
I have a neighbor in my development who has the exact same model and color as my Mach. She REFUSES to even wave hello as we pass. I don't know why but it makes me mad.

Hard No. Jeep does it and it's silly. Stealing it would be worse. Head nod is cool and acceptable.

I see 2-5 Mach-Es every day. At least where I live, it's not a rarity anymore and I'm not gonna be the weirdo to wave at every one that goes by.

I was waved at once in 2 years of ownership towards the very beginning.

The commonality I notice between all MME owners around here is that we all back into parking spots so that when our HVBJBs fail we can be easily towed.
Backing into parking spots is also becoming more common as drivers have become aware that it's safer to pull out of a spot when you can see cross traffic earlier compared to backing out. Driving schools have been advocating for this for some time now.

I like to wave but sometimes I get snubbed. One time a black GT pulled up to a light and would not advance in the lane next to me for an acknowledgement. Most times other drivers beat me to it, and I wave and smile back. I would acknowledge all EV drivers, but Tesla owners seem to be in their own world, IMHO.

Maybe smelling our own farts out of a champagne flute and saying “THAAAANKS” could be our gesture?

I support your proposal. I was at a round-a-bout in our town with the only other Iced Blue Metallic MME I'd ever seen. I was very excited :)
