Steve, you got that right. Since 2002, I have tinted my front side windows on every one of my vehicles with usually 40%-50% tint. While that is not very dark, it is noticeable. Living in a small CA town up in the mountains, I've never been bothered. I drive to the Sacramento area often and never been bothered. Back in March drove the GT500 to Menlo Park and bam, got a citation for tint on the front side windows. Last month loaned my Mach-E to a friend in Belmont for a week (he is trying to decide between it and a MY) and he got a ticket for same thing. Not driving to the Bay Area again unless absolutely necessary and if I do it will be at night. ?

Tommy, your car looks awesome. I have one on order in Iconic Silver and really like how clean it looks in that color and like the contrast with all the black trim.
Thank you, Mark. The windows are shared already and I debated on even tinting the fronts to match. You might not even want to after you get yours.

BTW, how did you match the tint of the front windows to the rear windows?

Did you also tint the lift gate window? Percentages please? Thanks!
The shop used 50% rear and hatch and 15% front to match.

Car is a beaut! That Red Lobster comment had me rolling!!! Can't say I blame her. RL is delectable! I have to say, those GT rims just look good to me. Can't wait to get mine.

I personally love it - it gives the MME a uniqueness. I genuinely understand the Mustang generation not wanting to embrace the electric market. But I will continue to own both versions and I LOVE this distinction!

Heh, I am not far from either Belmont or Menlo Park. They are worse here where I live in Foster City. I used to have a friend sign off most of my mechanicals but since he’s not alive any more, I try to stay legal.

That said, I am lazy and sometimes leave stuff in the back seat so I will probably get the tint on the rear side windows darkened and have the fronts done in an optically clear UV tint.

Very nice! Day photos look amazing after coating, and Pony looks nice at night, If you don't mind sharing, what coating did you use?

Nice collection with the new MME and the GT 500!, and is that a Thunderbird I see in your garage?

Nice looking garage as well, btw.
