I can't get it until Friday, but she's on the ground! These pix are from my salesman. I'll get better pix after I get off of work.
Congrats on your new Car, looks great in Silver!
Waiting for further hands-on experience from you!!!

My GT Cyber Orange has build date of Oct 11 so still some months to get here ? , dying to see an Orange one delivered!

I must say, after seeing yours, I'm more at peace with the decision to go GT and Not GTPE.

I never minded the Rims and as a couple of people are saying I think they grow on you, hopping aero cover can be removed.

I definitely like the interior better than the GTPE, the Seats look better to me, and I really like the copper highlights.

She’s a beauty, I so love the looks of the GT.
I hope I can get my dealer not to install those plastic aero covers, looks so much better without them.
Ford sells black lug nuts, I think they would look stunning with those wheels.
Congrats on your new MME GT.

I so much love the base GT’s interior.
I believe you can have the aero covers removed or not installed. That’s how I want mine.
We can’t wait for our cyber orange too.

First off, thank you all for sharing your excitement and for your congratulations.

A little bit of first impressions, as I was able to take the car out for a quick spin. First off, I only took 1 photo as the car was still filthy.

1. My salesman, brother and I jumped in and I hammered it right out of the parking lot. My initial thought was that it didn't seem very quick. Now this could be for various reasons: there were 3 of us in the car, all over 200 pounds. The battery was only at 60%. I drive a GT-500 with 900+ wheel horsepower. Either way, I have a hard time believing it's capable of a sub 4-second journey to 60 mph. I'm hoping that with a full charge and only myself in the car it'll prove me wrong. I've got a Dragy and intend on putting it to the paces as soon as possible.

2. The seats look much better in person. I thought they were very comfortable as well.

3. The plastic aero covers on the wheels are plastic. My car arrived with them already on. I'm almost certain the wheels have to come off before the covers can be removed. I'll update that on Friday after I take possession of the car.

4. The ride was very smooth. I purposely chose the base GT because my Mach-E will be my daily driver and winter car. I thought the extra $5000 wasn't worth it for the Magnaride; especially because I have it in my Shelby and that thing rides on the rough side, (just as God intended a Shelby to ride like...lol). Regardless, I felt the ride in the base GT was more SUV than Shelby...and I like that.

5. The B&O system sounds OK, but not stellar. I wasn't overly impressed with it after the quick adjustment of the settings. Again, just initial impressions, and I'll spend some time with it once I pick up the car.

6. Did I read somewhere that Ford only gave 1 key fob? I received 2...maybe due to the PAAK debacle?

7. Finally, driving a silent Mustang: I always thought that a good portion of the visceral experience of a Mustang is the wonderful sounds it makes. The louder a Mustang, the stronger, meaner, faster it seems and feels. I'm not upset at all about how quiet the Mach-E is, just saying that it's weird and it will take me some time getting used to it.

Apologies if this all sounds negative. Again, this is just an initial impression of a 15 minute test drive. I'm still planning on buying the car and I'm excited to learn more about it. And if things work out as planned, I hope to have mine at the track for a few runs on Friday night.

I'm sure all those factors you mentioned, along with the built up anticipation might have set you up to overestimate the performance...and 600 lbs of dudes in a car is always going to feel different even with 600 ft lbs.

I'm glad to hear the ride is good....as that's really the biggest differentiator for me that could have made me really regret the GT over the GTPE.

Did you get the pano roof with yours?

Yes, I got the pano roof. I was worried I might have to tint it, but it's rather dark and I love it.

I really like the look of the GT seats over the GTPE. They just seem more sporty.
as someone who ordered a GTPE, i have to agree. They also look more comfortable.

I would imagine the extra weight made a big difference, but also the lower battery. Electric vehicles, even electric bikes, get slower once the battery gets lower to a point. I'm not sure what that is in the MME. I do know that a while back I test drove an MME at a dealership with 40% battery, then I rented one on Turo with 100% charge and the difference in speed was drastic. And that was a SR RWD version too.

The sub 4 second speed will be in optimal scenarios. Full grip on the tires, full charge, one person in the car.
