Question about your comment about the Waze app, you mentioned you dont need to use car play? The app is included in the Ford App options??

Thanks for the front license plate info. I ordered thru Koons Baltimore and I live in PA, no front license plate in PA so i dont want them installing anything. I will call and confim that for sure once i get a delivery date.
Yes. While the Mach E will be running Waze through your phone, you bring it up directly on your Sync 4a screen in the Apple Carplay menu.

I believe he was referencing the Ford AppLink version of Waze, since he mentioned sans Carplay.

As far as I know, Ford AppLink requires a USB cable. But allows you to semi-natively run certain apps on your Sync system. There hasn't been any new info that I'm aware of in regards to AppLink in the Mach-E, other than it seems to support it.

If it isn't wireless, I think wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay will still be easier to use (no cords and all).

Everything I was doing was wireless and I accessed it via Apple Carplay.

I was actually watching you while you did it at the event. Your description above sounded like you didnt need the apple carplay like it was already an app on the system. But i get what you are saying now. I also asked that when waze in CarPlay is running you can still play Sirius thru the radio and waze will just interupt the music if a direction is voiced thru waze.

I think I actually had Spotify running off my phone (or maybe it was Sirius on the radio) simultaneously and Waze interrupted the music. Probably works for both.

I'm probably one of the younger people in this forum, but that sneak peek made me feel old... I absolutely do not want the screen in my car to be optimized for watching videos.

It's already settled law on here that unless a car has Netflix available on the infotainment, the entire car is a complete failure and should never have been made nor ever be purchased by anyone for any reason.

I can't believe it: I finally saw Infinite Blue in full sunlight! It is a gorgeous color and looks so different depending on the lighting.

Nice to meet @KAustin and his son at Lindsay Ford today.

Almost forgot: Lindsay Ford had SWAG bags. Inside the beautiful little gold bag were two spritz bottles of hand sanitizer and a Lindsay Ford face mask!

They also had free bottled water that I passed on. I'm allergic to bottled water.

I asked Justin if he wanted to give up his jacket. He passed... 😀
