In Transit Status

My MME has a production date if 5/15 and a ship date. But there has been no update on Palsapp. I have read that it usually shows up in Palsapp with a few days of the ship date. Just curious if I am missing anything. TIA for any info you might have!

It will not show in Palsapp until it has reached Kansas City (typically about 10-15 days after shipment). Mine was shipped on 5/10 and showed up in Palsapp on 5/21. Now on another train from KC.

I have been trying to find a premium awd and my local dealer called and said they have one in transit to them now but didn't know where it currently was. I put a deposit down on it but trying to gauge how long I will have this anxiety of waiting in my stomach.

Just received the vehicle visibility report from the dealership. It looks like it is just sitting on the ramp in Mexico. Is there any other info that can be gleaned off of it?

Not really. The next phase will be painstaking. The railcar identified in the report shows the car number but it is headed to Kansas City and that will take 10-12 days. Once there you can check your VIN in palsapp and see when it departs. You can go back to the dealer and get the railcar id again for the car headed close to you and then it will trucked to your local dealer. Much of the trip after KC is in the dark but suffice it to say it will take about 14 days to get to you after leaving KC.

Palsapp is not as helpful as I would like. I'm sure everyone else has already realized the Palsapp limitations.

Mine showed up shortly after it was shipped from Mexico on May 10th with a destination name of "null."

Two days ago it was updated and showed more info. Origin "Kansas City." Destination "My dealership name" which happens to be only a few miles from where it was unloaded from the train. This made me think it was on its way to the dealership.

Yesterday it reverted back to showing destination name "null" and no longer shows the name of my dealership.

The dealership says they see it left Mexico but won't have any updates until it shows up on the lot. I will ask them about the vehicle visibility report if I don't hear anything within a few days.

The wait continues.

According to Palsapp.com it arrived at the Argentine ramp in Kansas City today!!
