Not sure if this helps but the navigation doesn't recognize my home address so I input the cross streets since I live on the corner... Some places take a while to update in the system (i.e. new places) and some just don't work well ever (i.e. addresses with hyphens sometimes ) but if they are still using Here maps then it recognizes my address on the server but just not for in car navigation... All that to say I dunno why it didn't work for you but there is another workaround if that helps lol
