Hi
Anyone else had this problem?
I have two key fobs, one used by me and one by my wife.
Each one has it's own profile saved but occasionally I get in the car start it and I get my profile according to the screen, but my wife's car seat and mirror position.
If I change the profile to my wife's then back to mine it fixes it, but it's a real PITA.
The reverse also sometimes happens to my wife
Before anyone asks, there is only one key fob in the car when this happens

Push the seat memory button before you start the car.

Happens all the time, especially when remote starting.

Yes I have this same problem quite often - it does not sense my keys but rather my wife's or vice-versa. odd. annoying. and often when we turn on the key the windshield wipers go back and forth once. also odd.

Yep, I had this problem all the time and was so frustrated I deleted my wife's key. And then it kept defaulting to the Guest profile.

In January I took my car to my dealer and they performed all the open software updates, and now the problem is gone. Zero recurrence since January.

I have the same problems. Also the car always defaults to my wife’s phone although she’s not in the car. Odd things like the wiper going once, thinks I’m a guest, or sends me to backup start code. Easier to work around then complain.

Open software updates are different from wireless updates at home?
Have the same issue with both my fob and my phone inconsistently moving the seat to my wife's position.

Some updates can't be delivered via OTA, so I don't know if this fix is included with all the OTA updates happening now. I had the dealer do all the open updates in FDRS - I don't know which one fixed the profile issue.

Took my car in for recall software update and was hoping that it would fix the issues, unfortunately it hasn't but I am starting to see it happens at certain locations, RFID interference?

You have a 2021 and I am sure you have a lot of open software updates needed. I recommend you contact @Ford Motor Company via DM and report this issue to them. Get a case number assigned and Ford will help you get back into the dealer for all the software updates.

Go to the "FDRS check" thread in this forum and ask someone to check your VIN so you know all the updates needed. Then tell your dealer you need all the updates because one will resolve this issue.
