Button on the left side of steering wheel looks like a road when off all three drive modes have different screens
Oh totally! I know how it is supposed to work. In this case with this car there is no way to remove the car from the middle of the screen. That's what I am investigating :)

Ok! So, I will ask them to reprogram the FOBs, perhaps that will clean up the glitch?
Only one fob can be set as a MyKey, the other remains an Admin key, which you can use to delete the MyKey. Just tell them to find the cars other fob and use it to start the car and see if you can now turn off Lane Keep. Make sure they leave the first fob in the drawer.

But again, Lane Keep wasn’t on. You can tell by the lack of lines along the sides of the car image.

Can Somebody with a 2023.5 car please check to see if the speedo can still be moved to the middle?

Why would you have your own key set as a MyKey? (I know it’s a stupid name)
It appears some dealers may be using a MyKey as a way to test drive cars with max speed and radio volume reduced, and in some cases selling the car without deleting the MyKey. It's in the realm of possibilities and most probably have never heard of MyKey, so never realize it.

I thought the lines only appear when driving and the camera can sense the road edge/lane lines. Sitting still in a parking lot, the camera has nothing to reference, so no lines are displayed, a possible explanation, no?

That question was for @SashaLondon . He wasn’t test driving.

The lines are still there when parked. They’re just gray.

Yes! As @generaltso said above, I have both fobs, both are exhibiting the same behaviour. Can't get rid of the little car in the middle ...

Hi all, this is my first post. I am about to buy my 2nd Mach-e (premium x range) and the one at the dealership is brand new, just built and there is something new... and I am wondering if anyone has heard rumblings of Ford changing the layout of the instrument cluster or if it is a glitch. It is software version 23151.

As you can see, the speedometer in this vehicle is permanently on the right, the way it would have been if you had activated the Lane Centering. There is a way for me to turn lane centering on and off, but the little car stays there and the speedometer is on the right. No settings or anything to change it to the middle now. I have asked the dealership and they think this is just how the new software is.

So, is it a glitch or is this rolling out? Thank you all for the input!

From my knowledge, this has been the case for 2022+ Mach-Es. It's because the newer software does not allow for removing the car in the center (which is really annoying), even when you have all assistance systems deactivated. When my friend bought his first edition, he was able to get rid of the car in the center. But with the latest software updates, that's not the case. It's probably a case of the newer software being annoying.

PSA: I may be completely wrong; this is just to the best of my knowledge.

It isn't true. Here is a video of a 2023 (earlier in the year model that belongs to a friend, bought in June) with the speedometer in the centre, easily toggled with the lane assist button on the steering wheel :)
