There are dozens of threads and hundreds of posts about this. People were so upset you would think someone ran over their dog (no offense @HuntingPudel).
On my 24 GT the speedo is in the middle. It is only with lane keeping on or cruise control active that it slides over to the right.
That’s the way it was for everyone until it was changed with the update.
It was fixed for the 2024 model year. Hopefully the rest of us will get that fixed update someday.
Honestly, it makes me sad when I get in my car now and see that ugly screen in front of me. I have seriously considered upgrading to a 2024 just so I can get the fixed version of the software.
Ford released bad instrument cluster software back in July 2023, they have continued to push out that buggy software to 21-23s ever since. It was fixed on the 2024 model year vehicles, but that update probably won’t come to us unless they have to update it for some other reason.

You will most likely also experience the 1MPH bug. Occasionally, the cluster will show you're traveling 1MPH while you're stopped. That's just Ford's new tech helping you get to your destination faster.
